How To Reduce The Pain at Night

There are several things you can do to help reduce knee pain at night. Some are fairly simple and can be done in the comfort of your own home and others require a bit more effort:

  1. Consult your doctor – This one is mandatory in our opinion. You may thing that the knee pain will go away, and in some cases you may be right, but what if the root cause is something more serious? You won’t know until you see a proper specialist. Your doctor will send you to the right person, either for a consultation, x-ray, therapy, etc.

  4. Avoid lifting heavy objects – Until the root cause of your knee pain has been identified and fixed, it is highly recommended that you avoid heavy lifting, to avoid put excess weight on your already problematic knees.

  1. I tried alternating between cold and hot about 30 minutes before going to bed. It was ok, but I found that just icing my knee for 10 minutes or so before going to bed did the trick for me.
